Ellis Island

Immigration passed through Ellis Island in a day. 12 million immigrants passed through the island between 1892-1954. The immigrants had to get an inspection with the doctors. When a case aroused suspicion an inspector wrote the  alien was set aside in a cage away from the rest. Immigrants have to get inspected sothe doctors could see if the person is bringing anything into the country that'll effect others and endager there health.
